It has been at least ten years since taking Suzanne's Herbal Ways for Women class, long before this current "eat local" and "foraging" trend became popular. We hunted for our lunch all over the coast, in secret places where the nettle and miners lettuce was young and tender. These were places I had passed without noticing these morsels of deliciousness, only because I didnt know what I was looking at. All that changed because the knowledge she shared with us about our local edibles which has became part of my vocabulary. We hear a lot these days about our disconnect with the food we eat, this class will certainly open anyone's eyes (and appetite) for the abundance of food growing right under our feet. And you will not believe the food you will eat!
